Following successful completion of the course, the participant will receive a Nationally Recognised Certificate (UETTDRRF06B – Perform Rescue from a Live LV Panel & HLTAID001 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) via email on the same day of the course. We recommend that you refresh your Low Voltage Rescue and CPR Certificate every twelve months as per the Electrical Safety Act 2014.
Course Overview: This course will provide participants with the knowledge and ability to perform a Low Voltage Rescue. Participants will have the opportunity to use our Low Voltage Rescue Kits and switchboards to simulate a real life rescue.
Participants will also learn basic resuscitation skills including how to perform CPR on an infant, child and adult. This course will also cover the principles of Automated External Defibrillation and participants will have ample opportunity to utilise our training defibrillators. We teach in accordance with the Australian Resuscitation Council Guidelines.
Entry Requirements: As Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is generally conducted on the ground, participants will be required to perform two minutes of uninterrupted CPR on a manikin placed on the floor. Participants will also be required to perform a ‘one man drag’ to simulate a Low Voltage Rescue. We recommend that participants have a good understanding of the English language. If you have any concerns, please call Luke on 0401 276 768 and discuss before you enroll into one of our Nationally Recognised Courses.
